Federal and Global Semester

These programs combine a fall seminar course taught by industry experts with professional development workshops, one-on-one resume and interview reviews, and federally-related events throughout the year. The program's mission: to prepare talented, diverse undergraduate students to excel in professional internships in the spring semester and pursue careers of influence and impact, especially in the public sector.

The Maryland Internship Program is designed for students looking to supplement their academic course work with real-world experience in Maryland politics. In addition to exposing interns to the governmental process, the program provides Maryland government leaders with research and other professional staff assistance.

Public leadership internship program

Learn critical workforce skills, make important professional connections, and build your resume for graduate school or jobs.  Additionally, you will contribute to making the world a better place by exercising public leadership skills and increasing the capacity of organizations that do important work!

The Federal Government has taken steps to help students and recent graduates join the Federal service. New opportunities will appear on USAJOBS as agencies post them.  Use the Pathways Program to find internships or jobs for recent graduates.
