Below are the details for the field trip this Sunday, Sept. 13th, to the Freer Gallery in Washington, DC to see 2 documentaries as part of their Contemporary Iran through Film series. The event starts at 2:00pm at the Freer Gallery, and you have two options for transport. You may metro with the group to the gallery (we will provide the roundtrip metro fare cards), or you may meet them there at 1:45pm. IMPORTANT: Please let Ruzbeh know what you are planning to do so he knows how many students will be meeting him at the metro.

Sunday, 9/13 Itinerary
OPTION 1: 12:45pm – meet Ruzbeh at the College Park metro station
OPTION 2: 1:45pm – meet Ruzbeh at the Freer Gallery (Jefferson Drive at 12th Street, SW – Smithsonian Metro Stop)
2:00-4:00pm - "The Treasure Cave" and "Statues of Tehran" (Documentaries shown in Persian with English subtitles)
4:00-4:30pm – Walk to Merzi for dinner discussion with Ruzbeh about the event and films (415 7th Street, Washington, DC 20004)
4:30-5:30pm – Dinner discussion with Ruzbeh and Maryam
5:30pm – Students may metro back to College Park or stay in Washington, DC. Please inform Ruzbeh of your plan.
