Join the Persian Picnic event from 3:00-5:00pm at St. Mary’s Hall, with the Persian Capstone students grilling kabob and creating a delicious Persian BBQ meal in the outdoor grill area and the Multi-Purpose Room set up with Persian sweets, tea and lots of information about our program plus some cultural activities including a game table. The goal of this event is to reach as many interested and potential students as possible, and so I am asking for your assistance in two ways.
1) Please sign up to volunteer at this event. You’ll receive club credit for participating (1 hour or more) and you’ll also get to eat some delicious food :). As students stop by throughout the event I’d like to be sure we always have a few current PFP students that they could speak to if they’re interested. You can sign up here: http://doodle.com/poll/dv53c6h5msieg4ux.
2) Please invite any students you know who may be interested attending using the flyer attached above or the Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/425465014319887/). As you know, PFP is open to undergraduates of any major so students from outside Persian Studies are especially welcome.
Questions about the event are very welcome, so please don’t hesitate to email me or stop by my office. This should be a great event!
