Global Business Scholarship
The Summer Language Institute and the Center for Global Business are proud to offer $2,000 scholarships for rising freshmen and sophomore business majors.
Application deadline: April 9, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.
You must be a current Robert H. Smith School of Business student and must apply to the both the scholarship AND the Summer Language Institute by this deadline.
Global Engineering Scholarship
This year, the Summer Institute in partnership with the Global Engineering Department will be offering $2,000+ scholarships to rising freshman and sophomore engineering majors! For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Foreign Language and Area Studies Program (FLAS) Fellowships:
Our contact hours meet FLAS requirements, and fellowship holders can apply this funding towards the UMD Summer Language Institute. The University of Maryland does not receive or distribute FLAS funding. Applicants must apply for this funding through their home institution, if the institution has FLAS funding.

UMD Tuition Remission
If you are a UM System Employee (or employee's dependent or spouse) and you plan to use Tuition Remission benefits, please visit the Tuition Remission website. Please be sure to note that the policy limits the number of credits allowable for summer tuition remission to 8 credits.
